Niger Delta Amnesty: Protesters block road, urge Dokubo to pay Ezonebi.

Niger Delta Amnesty: Protesters block road, urge Dokubo to pay Ezonebi.

*Call on President Buhari, DSS, NSA to wade into the matter.

Justice T.

Niger Delta ____ The delegates of the Ezonebi training centre, on Wednesday protested over the non-payment of their coordinator, Enetimi Evah Ezonebi.

The delegates blocked the southwest road in the early hours of today, demanding the Presidential Amnesty Office to make payments to their coordinator for jobs completed.

They also appealed to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, National Security Adviser (NSA) and the DSS to call Professor Charles Dokubo to make payments to their coordinator for jobs completed in June 10, 2019.

The delegates all came out to protest today to show their disapproval of the non-payment of their coordinator for the training programme they all attended at Lagos for a duration of six months, they further mentioned that their coordinator, Enetimi Evah was a blessing and the centre changed their lives  for the better. The coordinator ensured they were equipped with the right skills and all they needed to transform their mentality.

At the graduation ceremony held in Lagos in June 2019, they were awarded cash gift and they are yet to receive the gift as a result of the non-payment. They are also unable to receive their TIN number, which is outstanding. They are protesting in order to collect what is due to them.

They further mentioned that, if payment are not made quickly, they will go back to the creek and create unrest in the Niger Delta. They want the DSS to assist in making the payment process effective to avoid them going back to the creek. They also vowed that if they go back to the creek, Professor Charles Dokubo should be arrested as he is to be blamed for this, not them.

One of the delegates Melakpo marvelous (leather work) said “The Amnesty Office used our madam and gave her technical knockout, because Professor Charles Dokubo came for flag up at Ezonebi training centre , he also attended or mid training beach activity at Landmark and is aware of the progress we have made, which makes the way she is being treated bad.

They used Ezonebi training centre and projected accomplishments to Nigeria in an elaborate graduation ceremony held at the Eko hotel Lagos in June, 2019.

To us, we see this act as a technical knockout, as she has tried to get her outstanding payment from the office since June, but is yet to receive it and in addition she has been restricted from getting into the office to process her payment. This is merely an act of wickedness from the office to a dedicated contractor.”

Another delegate, Madam Hilter, who was the best delegate in fashion works said “ When she called our coordinator (Enetimi Evah) to redeem her cash gift, she was in tears and asked that I exercised patience as the office had not made payment to her.”

According to some of the delegates who were trained in Information Technology, they are yet to be empowered, they are very angry about it. They have protested earlier at Silverbird television station Lagos as regards the instant empowerment allegedly promised by Dokubo.

They further mentioned that the training centre was more of a rehabilitation facility for them, they were so lucky to have been posted there, as no other training centre was so interested in their growth and overall success. The coordinator was even awarded an excellence award by the Presidential Amnesty Office at their graduation in June,2019. She is a mother to all.

“We are requesting the amnesty office to make payments to her within the next two weeks, or we would be forced to go back to the creek to create unrest in the Niger Delta.

This woman has trained more than 300 delegates in the Niger Delta, to mobilize ourselves and fund any protest is nothing to us, her JOY is our JOY, WE WILL NOT ALLOW HER TO CRY again, if she sheds tears again in respect to the payments, we will fight to the end.

We urge President Muhammadu Buhari and his administration to take necessary actions in ensuring contractors (Coordinators) are paid as they impact positively to our lives and the Niger Delta.

We were all jubilating when we read on the news that Aladja and Ogbe_Ijoh communities had signed a peace pack and that final peace has returned to the once troubled area a week ago.

We are still in the dark, as we are yet to imagine what nature of peace Accord both communities had signed?

Comrade Taylor was slain at the noon day on 15th October, 2019 at his house behind Warri Southwest Secretariat in Ogbe-Ijoh town.

He was attacked and shot death while he was reportedly doing some maintenance works in his compound.

The invading militia youths who shot him death was identified as Aladja youths by Ogbe-Ijoh community.

The dead of Taylor is irreparable loss, and a big blow to IPDI and Ijaw nation.

UN appointment: Jonathan's legacy of peace speaking for him -Timi Frank

UN appointment: Jonathan's legacy of peace speaking for him -Timi Frank

...Cautions Buhari against ICC.

A political activist and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Comrade Timi Frank, has described the United Nations' appointment of former President Goodluck Jonathan as one of the rewards for leaving behind a legacy of peace in Nigeria.

Frank, however, cautioned General Muhammadu Bubari to think of the kind of legacies he will leave behind at the expiration of his tenure, adding that International Criminal Court (ICC) is no respecter of any president.

The United Nations (UN) Monday announced the appointment of Nigeria’s ex-President as its Special Envoy on Crisis Management. UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterre made the announcement.

But reacting to the appointment through a statement Tuesday in Abuja to congratulate the former President Goodluck Jonathan, Frank said "GEJ's uncommon trait of leadership in Africa and beyond is an asset to the whole world.

We will be praying to God to give Goodluck Jonathan wisdom, knowledge and understanding to manage this honour as the first African to hold this position.

Jonathan's love for humanity is a virtue every living being must imbibe. His humility, through the grace of God is beyond ordinary. Though being vilified at home by some elements of darkness but International community, where things work daily recognise him. A big congratulations to a peaceful leader," Frank stated.

Recalling some of the statements of peace credited to the former President, Timi Frank said: "Statements like 'if I lose this election, of course I will go back to my village. The country is not my father’s estate,' My ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian,' and 'Let nobody rig for me,' among others will forever differentiate Jonathan from the current General Buhari.

In 2019 presidential election, when General Buhari was asked whether he will congratulate the winner if he loses the election, he (Buhari) simply said he would congratulate himself. That is desperation of the highest order.

While Former President Jonathan is being honored worldwide, by the time General Buhari will leave office anytime from now, the world will be waiting for him to answer some questions bothering on human rights and the rule of law among others," Frank stated.

The political activist also commended the United Nation for the honour done to Nigeria's ex-President, saying "the body should not also fail to reward bad leaders for their contributions to humanity as well."

Signed:
Comrade Timi Frank

How Bob Marley was murdered by CIA Agent Bill Oxley, Confesses On Deathbed.

How Bob Marley was murdered by CIA Agent Bill Oxley, Confesses On Deathbed.

...........I Killed Bob Marley.

Miane_____ Former CIA agent Bill Oxley has confessed on his deathbed to assassinating Bob Marley on behalf of the government.
A 79-year-old retired officer of the CIA, Bill Oxley, has made a series of stunning confessions since he was admitted to the Mercy Hospital in Maine on Monday and told he has weeks to live. He claims he committed 17 assassinations for the American government between 1974 and 1985, including the music icon Bob Marley.

Mr. Oxley, who worked for the CIA for 29 years as an operative with top-level security clearances, claims he was often used as a hitman by the organization, to assassinate individuals who could represent a threat to the goals of the agency.

Trained as a sniper and marksman, Mr. Oxley also has significant experience with more unconventional methods of inflicting harm upon others, like poisons, explosives, induced heart attacks and cancer.

The 79-year-old operative claims he committed the assassinations between March 1974 and August 1985, at a time when he says the CIA “was a law unto itself.” He says he was part of an operative cell of three members which carried out political assassinations across the country and occasionally in foreign countries.

Most of their victims were political activists, journalists, and union leaders, but he also confesses to assassinating a few scientists, medical researchers, artists and musicians whose ideas and influence “represented a threat to the interests of the United States.”

He claims he had no problem with going through with the assassination of Bob Marley, because “I was a patriot, I believed in the CIA, and I didn’t question the motivation of the agency. I’ve always understood that sometimes sacrifices have to be made for the greater good.”

But Mr. Oxley confesses that Bob Marley remains unique among his victims, as he was the only victim he “felt anything for.”

The others were assholes. Bob Marley was Bob Marley. I was no closer to being a long-haired hippy back then than I am now, but I must admit Bob’s music did move me. It held some power over me.”

He claims to have “mixed feelings” about Bob Marley’s death. On the one hand, Marley was “a good man, a beautiful soul” with “profound artistic gifts” who did not deserve to have his life cut short. But according to Mr. Oxley, Bob Marley was also placing the goals of the CIA in jeopardy and threatening the existence of the United States:

He was succeeding in creating a revolution that used music as a more powerful tool than bullets and bombs. Bob Marley in 1976 was a very serious threat to the global status quo and to the hidden power brokers implementing their plan for a new world order. As far as the agency was concerned, Bob Marley was too successful, too famous, too influential… A Jamaican Rastaman who started using his funds and fame to support causes around the world that were in direct conflict with the CIA… To be honest, he signed his own death warrant.”

It’s not like we didn’t warn him. We sent a few guys to shoot up his house in Kingston,” Mr Oxley says, referring to a shooting in the Marley residence that left the singer with an injured arm and chest.  “We had a message for him. We impressed upon him the gravity of the situation he found himself in. He didn’t listen.”

Two days later, in the mountains, I stuck him with the pin.“

How Bob Marley was murdered by the CIA

Two days after Bob Marley was shot in the left arm by one of three gunmen who ambushed the singer and some of his crew in his house in Kingston, and after a brief stint in hospital, Bob Marley travelled to the protective hills of the Blue Mountains and spent time at the highest point in Jamaica, rehearsing for an upcoming concert.

According to Mr. Oxley, he used press credentials to gain access to Bob Marley during his Blue Mountains retreat. He introduced himself as a famous photographer working for the New York Times, and gave Bob Marley a gift.

I gave him a pair of Converse All Stars. Size 10. When he tried on the right shoe, he screamed out ‘OUUUCH.‘

That was it. His life was over right there and then. The nail in the shoe was tainted with cancer viruses and bacteria. If it pierced his skin, which it did, it was goodnight nurse.”

There had been a series of high-profile assassinations of counter-culture figures in the United States in the late sixties, early seventies. By the time Bob Marley’s time came around, we thought subtlety was the order of the day. No more bullets and splattered brains.”

Mr. Oxley says he kept close contact with Marley during the final years of his life, ensuring the medical advice he received in Paris, London and the United States “would hasten his demise rather than cure him.” He died from cancer in May 1981. He was just 36 years old.

The final photo of Bob Marley, days before his death.
“The last time I saw Bob before he died he had removed the dreadlocks, and his weight was dropping like a stone,” he says.

He was very withdrawn, unbelievably small. He was shrinking in front of us. The cancer had done it’s job.”

The day he died in Miami was definitely one of the most difficult moments in my career. I felt real bad. For a long time I wasn’t comfortable with my part in his death. But eventually I came to realize it had to be done, for America.

SSA To Okowa, Daniel Ezekiel Blow Hot To Okere - Urhobo, Itsekiri Youths Drop your Weapons And Embrace Peace.

SSA To Okowa, Daniel Ezekiel Blow Hot To Okere - Urhobo, Itsekiri Youths Drop your Weapons And Embrace Peace.

Justice T.

Warri_____ Senior Special Assistant to Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on security matters, Comr. Daniel Pere Ezekiel has appealed to the youths of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom and her Itsekiri counterparts in Warri to seize fire and embrace peace, over the recent bloothbath at the weekend during the burial of late Okere-Urhobo monarch, HRM Late Prof. Oghenero Okumagba Idama ll, stressing that the issue could have been resolved amicably without resulting to lost of lives and properties.

Speaking further, he said it is so despondent that the youths who are suppose to be peace ambassadors in our society are the ones clapping hand's for war over an erroneous interpretation is uncalled for. He said it is better to jaw-jaw than to beat drum for war, noting that no matter the level we go in terms of violence, we are all still bound to dialogue on the same table at the end.

According to the Press Statement reads; " Late Jamaican reggae musician, Bob Marley said in one of his songs titled, 'one Love', lets come together and live alright.

It is so disheartening that youths who are suppose to be the embodiment of this reggae icon message are the ones causing bloodbath over an issue that could be resolved amicably. Burial of His Royal Majesty , late professor Oghenero Okumagba Idama ll , a man of absolute peace while alive and father to all regardless of ethnic group, should not make people to turn clubs, cutlasses and guns against each other.

My fellow youths, you all clamour for job and other forms of empowerment from state government and muti-national companies, but how do we expect them to bring this in the midst of crisis ? The answer is capital NO.

It is better to jaw-jaw than to war because no matter the level we go in terms of violence, we are all still bound to dialogue on the same table, so why killing each other in the first instance. I hereby call on youths from Okere-Urhobo and their counterpart from Itsekiri axis to please lay down their arms and give peace a chance so that His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa developmental agenda can flourish in their communities.

I equally appeal to the elders and leaders in the area to play unifying role instead of fanning ember of crisis and reign in the youths with words of wisdom on why peace should be given a chance.

The 7 Broken Laws Of Ijaw Nation: The Key To Her Unity And Prosperity~ Francis

The 7 Broken Laws Of Ijaw Nation:
The Key To Her Unity And Prosperity.~ Abai Francis.

It was in the cool evening of the day when the Ijaw Nation paid a visit to my consulting space. I had seen her at several occasions but I could tell this time around that she looked more pale and her expression was one of deep gloom. In fact, I suspected that her situation (whatever it is) had made her to look more older than her real age as wrinkles were tattooed all over her once angelic face and the color of her skin sauntered by the unnatural hot rays of the sun causing scatting blemishes on her once shining skin.

"When a man visit the gods, it is not the place of the gods to entertain him," I reminded the Ijaw Nation, who nodded in agreement and offered her oblations. After the necessary entertainment rites had been performed, I then asked her the purpose of her sudden visit. The Ijaw Nation began to recount the tales of her woes that prompted her visit. As she spoke, it was like she was struggling like a drowning man trying to make it to the seashore. For every word she utters, it seems like she let them out with the whole of her strength. I quickly noticed that the Ijaw Nation was dying!

"Wise one, my home is no longer a home. My children are all scattered even though they are all under my roof. Strangely, they are speaking in different mother tongues that are not my own. As such, I no longer understand a thing they say. Daily, they nag and fight amongst themselves over crumbs of bread while strangers go away with the bread belonging to them. They cast dignity to the ground as almost everyone has neglected our tradition of humility as a people. They once lived in peace and in joy, supporting one another until the stranger came into their midst with the bread of crude oil. Now, my children, having tasted this fruit have become intoxicated for quick wealth. Today, their inheritance is squandered and I'm not sure any would be left for the next generation. Maybe I have offended the gods and need to make sacrifices to appease them. Wise one, what do I do?" she asked, ending her lamentations in hot tears that kept rolling down her cheeks.

I shook my head and felt pity for her plight. Moreover, I could feel her pains as a mother; it was the agony of a pregnant woman in labour. However, pitying her is not the solution. As I began to speak to the Ijaw Nation in response, she looked apprehensive like a man dying of thirst but who was about to be presented with water.

"You need no sacrifices to appease no gods. Your problems are self-inflicted and not the cause of any supernatural forces or gods but of your own making because your children have refused to abide by the laws of nature. When a child refuse to heed corrections and warnings, it is said that her end is near. Strangely, your children are stiff necked people. But if they would heed the laws handed down to them which are always before them, then their predicaments would disappear. For clarity, I will tell you seven of these natural laws the Ijaw Nation should abide by to ensure her unity and prosperity.

"First, is the LAW OF TRUTH. The Ijaw Nation has betrayed TRUTH. Your children have all forgotten that Ijaw means TRUTH. Your calamity springs from the act of trading lies. When a nation embraces lies, calamity is sure to come knocking on the door. Majority of your children have lost the dignity of TRUTH, both the honoured and the lowly among you, all in the quest to make quick riches. Where there is TRUTH, there will be trust and unity, but where lies reign supreme, there will be DISTRUST and DISUNITY!

"Second, is the LAW OF LOVE. There was a time the Ijaw Nation was known as a people that were ever loving and accommodating because of this law. Can there be love without sacrifice? While out of love the Ijaw Nation sacrifices for the entire Niger Delta region, but within your folds, the Ijaw Nation holds no love. Why won't there be infighting among you? Instead of love, you use hate to pull each other down. Awaken your love or else your children would soon start a bloody war amongst themselves. It is close. When you break the law of love, HATRED which destroys peace and unity will reign supreme!

"Third, is the LAW OF JUSTICE. When you take what is meant for the majority to give to a few among you, is that justice? The Ijaw Nation must do away with oppression. When have you began to segregate yourselves? The fruit of crude oil has become a basis to ostracise your own brothers and sisters because you alone want to enjoy the gift that is meant for all which the gods bestowed upon your lands. How cursed some of your children have become! You now form cliques, helping only those in your circle as if you are no longer children from the same ancestral parents. When the law of justice is broken, it will breed nothing but VIOLENCE!

"Fourth, is the LAW OF WORSHIP. The Ijaw Nation should fear their Temewei. He blessed you among all the other tribes with a land flowing with milk and honey, but yet the children of the Ijaw Nation have turned some of the natural gifts into gods that they now either worship or put their absolute trust in! They now run after dead gods and device their own religion of darkness. And so, Temewei has placed their wealth in the hands of strangers to rule over them. Are you surprised that the children of the Ijaw Nation are fighting amongst themselves over crumbs of bread while they clap hands for strangers who cart away their bread? In your own palace you have become slaves because you will not bow before your Creator and Maker. When the law of worship is broken, nature itself will fight against you and POLLUTE your lands!

"Fifth, is the LAW OF BLOOD. The children of the Ijaw Nation has broken this oath and have forgotten the consequences of their actions. They plot evil in their hearts in their desires to gain power and wealth; they betray and kill their own fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters, hence the land is polluted with the sacrilegious blood of their own kind. It is a taboo to shed the blood of your fellow being. What a taboo! Like Cain killed Abel, so too the children of the Ijaw Nation are shedding the blood of the innocent. When this law of blood is broken, a nation becomes CURSED!

"Sixth, is the LAW OF FORGIVENESS. The children of the Ijaw Nation should allow the Spirit of forgiveness to reign over their souls. Without forgiveness, the Ijaw Nation will not heal. Majority of you hold grievances against your own, and yet you want Temewei to pardon your misdeeds. Some of the children of the Ijaw Nation show no mercy and their hearts are hardened like that of Pharaoh of Egypt. Where the law of forgiveness is broken, VIOLENCE through the act of vengeance will take lead and the fruit thereof will be nothing but giving room to CURSE!

"Seventh, is the LAW OF OBEDIENCE. From all that has been said so far, it is clear that the children of the Ijaw Nation have been disobedient. Evil came into the world through the act of disobedience and the world has not been able to recover from that act. Tenewei is asking, "Will my people who are called by my name (TRUTH), obey Me by abiding by My laws?" He is saying that if only they would, the Ijaw Nation would have prospered and be more united. These days, some of you have turned my Word and misinterpreted them to suit your greedy and selfish lifestyles. You can't eat your cake and have it. Where the law of obedience is broken, you LOSE YOUR INHERITANCE to peace, prosperity, and life!"

All the time that I was delivering the message, all that the Ijaw Nation could do was to shake her head which was bowed to the ground. She then raised herself and asked, "Will my children ever listen? Maybe an evil spirit has possessed their hearts and they need to be cleansed from its powerful influence. Surely, Temewei could do something."

"Yes, but it is not the place of God to force men to do His will. The Ijaw Nation should call her children together and speak all these laws unto them. For those who would listen, Temewei will bless; but for those who would not, they will become like ashes blown away by the wind. The Ijaw Nation are a special people. When you were oppressed, Temewei raised His rod among you to fight and defend you. He elevated you to the corridors of power to rule the other nations. He opened the Heavens of the government and established ministries and commissions to take care of your needs. Your children were sponsored abroad to acquire advanced knowledge. He caused strangers operating in your midst to bow down to your wishes; and so on. But what did the children of the Ijaw Nation do? Instead, you saw all these as your own efforts and not that of Temewei; you began to worship and obey material things. You thought it was by your power? Now, Temewei has withdrawn His hand and left you to your affairs. Now, you are lamenting. Except you abide by these seven laws, the unity and prosperity of the Ijaw Nation will not come!

Bayelsa Youths Caution Oshiomhole Over Dickson, Bayelsa Election.

Bayelsa Youths Caution Oshiomhole Over Dickson, Bayelsa Election.

...... Warns Against Any Plot To Sabotage The Electoral Will Of Bayelsans.

Justice T.

Bayelsa ____ A socio-political youth group in Bayelsa State, the Concerned Youth Forum of Tarakiri, has cautioned the APC National Chairman, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, to refrain from making unguarded statements over the November 16 governorship election in the state.

In a statement made in Yenagoa on Friday through its coordinator and spokesman, Mr. Ebikebina Akpe, the Concerned Youth Forum of Tarakiri noted with concern that Oshiomhole's outbursts on the Governor of Bayelsa State, the Honourable Henry Seriake Dickson, and his purported declaration of victory for the APC "were not only reckless, provocative and disparaging but also capable of undermining the entire electoral process and INEC's neutrality to conduct a free, fair and credible governorship election in Bayelsa State on November 16."

He Stressed that the Forum was fully cognizant of the fact the APC was the party controlling the Federal Government at the centre, but was quick to add that it would not allow itself to be intimidated by Oshiomhole or anyone else.

"We cannot be intimidated by anyone, including Adams Oshiomhole. We want to sound a strong note of warning to whosoever that cares to listen that we will resist any attempt to sabotage or rig the forthcoming election in Bayelsa State."

"We are equally using this medium to appeal to the federal agencies and institutions like the INEC, Police, Civil Defence, and others who are involved directly or indirectly in the electoral process to be fair, unbiased and professional in their conduct before, during and after the election, as that is the only guarantee to produce an outcome that would be acceptable and satisfactory to all stakeholders in the election", the statement declared.

It will be recalled that the APC National Chairman, party stalwarts from the state in Abuja at a reconciliatory meeting with aggrieved APC governorship aspirants.

Reasons why sitting presidents refused to leave power – Jonathan.

Reasons why sitting presidents refused to leave power – Jonathan

Justice T.

Niger Republic____Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan says overpraising sitting presidents makes them feel like a little god and makes it unthinkable for them to leave office.
Jonathan said this on Thursday at the constitutional term limits summit in Niger Republic, Niamey.

Jonathan who is one of the speakers at the summit organised by the National Democratic Institute (NDI), also said the fear of persecution after office makes it difficult for a sitting president to relinquish power. Let’s create an environment where people will believe there’s life after office. That if you leave office you should not be persecuted,” he said.

The way we manage ourselves as sitting presidents and former presidents matter. The first line is to reduce what will make a sitting president afraid to leave office.
Africans sometimes, we are our own problem because we always think our presidents are little gods. That somebody is president does not mean he is God. We have a tradition of praise-singing. We tend to give our presidents name they don’t deserve.

We tend to over-praise sitting presidents and make them think they are little gods. When they begin to make a sitting president think he is God, and he is the only person that can run the affairs of thenation; then the person will be there; nobody removes God.
“When you make a president feel he is god, don’t expect him to leave. The media and civil society must continue to admonish characters that make presidents think they are the best thing to happen.
“That you are president does not mean you are better than others. We citizens of this continent create little gods, and God cannot leave power, the statement add.

Dr. Goodluck  Ebele Jonathan, Former President of Nigerian.

Presidency Speak's On Buhari Seeking Third Term In Office ~ Garba Shehu.

Presidency Speak's On Buhari Seeking Third Term In Office ~ Garba Shehu.

~~The Presidency has debunked reports in the Nigerian media that it has plans to amend the Constitution regarding the two-term limit for Presidents which will enable.

Abuja____ Buhari’s spokesman said although there had been an attempt in the past to change the Constitution to allow for the incumbent president to stand for a third term, such an attempt was wrong and unconstitutional and will not happen under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Presidential spokesman described President Buhari as a democrat who respects the Constitution and would never support any activity aimed at altering it.

President Buhari intends to serve his full second elected term in office, ending 2023 – and then there shall be a general election in which he will not be a candidate,” the Presidential spokesman said in a statement, adding that “there is not even the faintest possibility that this will change.

The statement reads as thus: “The Presidency wishes to correct internet-based gossip and un-informed media commentary regarding presidential term limits, given credence by so-called support groups, staging street demonstrations asking President Muhammadu Buhari to do a third term.

There are no circumstances – nor set of circumstances – under which President Buhari may seek to amend the Constitution regarding the two-term term limit on holding office as President.

President Buhari intends to serve his full second elected term in office, ending 2023 – and then there shall be a general election in which he will not be a candidate.
There is not even the faintest possibility that this will change.
It is important to note that there was a past attempt to change the Constitution to allow for the then incumbent president to stand for a third term. That attempt was wrong, unconstitutional – and rightly rebuffed. No such attempt will happen under this President.

President Buhari is a democrat. He respects the Constitution. Any activity aimed at altering the two-term limit will not succeed and shall never have his time nor support,” the statement added.

Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, report in a statement on Tuesday night, October 1.

Causes of this problem are, poor drainage facilities and decaying infrastructures, lack of proper environmental planning and management strategies, poor practice of dumping waste/refuse and climate change coupled with inadequate preparedness have been traced and among others, human activities in terms of developmental involvements adjudged to be very important factors in accelerating the rate of this disaster which often leaves in its wake spread of diseases, loss of thousands of lives from various parts of the state and properties worth billions of naira being destroyed. The impacts of floods are more pronounced in low-lying areas.

It is high time the government recognised flooding as a real - time problem especially, in the face of global climate change. The ecological funds should therefore be used to protect the citizenry from floods and environmental challenges.

As a matter of urgency, am calling on the state governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and the legislators representing the coastal region to sponsor bills containing the permanent creation Camps, with yearly budget to rehabilitate flood displaced victims.Design flood displaced camps and financial support to them, relief materials should be made available and other measures to control the threatening flood situation now before its cause more damage.
Because affected individuals need food, shelter assistance, provision of health services, drinking water and access to clean toilets.

He further advised those living in flood-prone and affected communities to relocate to safer locations or move to the nearest camps which had been opened by the state in different local government area's, in order to avoid loss of lives and property.

Nigeria @59: Deltans Should Seek Peace As To Attract More Investors In The State~ Okowa's Aide Daniel Ezekiel.

........Our Democracy Is Improving, Let There Be Equal Right & Justice For All Nigerians.

Justice T.

Delta State ____ SSA to Dr. Okowa Daniel Ezekiel, wish all Deltans and Nigeria at large, @59th happy independence anniversary. Nigerian democracy is improving for better, despite we are yet to adhered to total obedience to rule of law. Lets join hands to build on our democracy. Call on Deltans to use Nigerian 59th years anniversary celebration to join hands with his Excellency, senator  (Dr)Ifeanyi Okowa to maintain peace,  law and order in the state as to attract more investors to the state.

It is worthy of note that Governor Okowa empowerment programme and SMART agenda is paying off, as it have put smile in many Deltans faces. Many are gainfully self_employed and others are been qualified into the Labour market. As Deltans we have all reasons to be grateful to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as he is among the most democratical governors in the country. He is a detribalised governor ,peace loving, unbias, and not sentimental. He has a passionate love for the development of our dear state.

Nigeria ,especially Delta state belongs to all of us ,and security of lives and property should not be left in the hands of government and security agencies alone, we must all join hands to nip in the bud any form of insecurity in any part of the state. I urge you as fellow youths to be always lawful and strive to take a leadership position as no one has monopoly of political power.

Again, to my fellow youths out there, l want you all to exhibit the highest form of decorum and shun any thing that will threaten the peace of the state as we go about celebrating our Nation's independence day anniversary.

I want you to believe in your self , work hard and desist from social vices such as drug abuse and cultism because it will only cut short your life and derail God plans for you. Am one of you ,if l can become Senior special assistant today, you can become Governor of this state in the future.

At this auspicious moment of Nigeria 59th birth anniversary, I call for justice for the oppressed people in Niger Delta. We all tend to be having equal rights but the reserve is the case. Oil companies are not living up to expectation, it should help to build peace and develop host communities of their operational areas. I call on leaders of Niger delta to be up and doing.

They should help to pursue development of the region and among other things. It is their responsibility to make more emphasis on the development of the region. It is my advice that you don't see your office as a means of self_powerment but use it to better the lives of the common man on the street.

Signed
Comrade Ezekiel Daniel
SSA to Governor Of Delta State on Security.
